By accessing or using AlohaCalendar ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

AlohaCalendar is an events calendar and business directory for the Hawaiian islands. We aggregate event listings from public sources, user submissions, and business partners. We also provide business listing and advertising services.

3. User Accounts

You may create an account to save events, manage business listings, or subscribe to newsletters. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating an account.

4. Event Listings

Event information is provided for informational purposes. While we strive for accuracy, event details (dates, times, prices, locations) may change without notice. Always verify with the event organizer before attending.

We reserve the right to remove or modify event listings that violate our guidelines, contain inappropriate content, or are found to be fraudulent.

5. Business Listings

Businesses can list on AlohaCalendar for free (basic listing) or purchase premium placements. Business owners are responsible for the accuracy of their listing information. We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our guidelines.

Premium business listings are billed monthly via Stripe. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No refunds for partial months.

6. User Content

By submitting events, reviews, or other content, you grant AlohaCalendar a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and distribute that content on our platform. You retain ownership of your content.

7. Prohibited Use

You agree not to:

• Submit fraudulent or misleading event/business listings
• Scrape or bulk-download content without permission
• Use the service for spam, harassment, or illegal purposes
• Attempt to interfere with the service's operation

8. Limitation of Liability

AlohaCalendar is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, attendance at listed events, or interactions with listed businesses. Use the service at your own risk.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
