Hawaii's first dedicated indoor bouldering gym, in the heart of downtown Hilo. Big Island Climbing offers around 800 sq ft of bouldering with 14-foot walls and routes for every skill level — from first-timers to seasoned climbers. Climbing-shoe rentals and liquid chalk are available on site, plus an observation area for friends and family. Hours: Mon–Fri noon–8pm, Sat–Sun 10am–6pm.
